Security Enthusiast

I'm Mohan Sri Rama Krishna Pedhapati, also known as s1r1us. I earned my B.Tech in Computer Science from RGUKT Nuzvid and went on to found Electrovolt Infosec, a pen-testing and security consulting firm based in India. At Electrovolt, we boast a team of ~8 highly specialized security researchers from around the world. I also serve as a Senior Application Security Auditor at Cure53 in Berlin, where I am one of their 20 top consultants and partner with world-class security firms.

My passion for cybersecurity extends into blockchain security, where I indulge as a hobbyist with OtterSec in the USA. I lead the CTF team Invaders from RGUKTN and participate with the team zer0pts. Over the years, my research has focused on browser and web security, particularly client-side security. Some of my notable contributions include speaking at BountyCon Facebook in 2020 on the topic "Tangled Browsers," achieving 4th place in 2021 for Top 10 Web Hacking Techniques with my prototype pollution research, and presenting at the BSides Ahmedabad Conference.

In 2022, my research into Electron applications led to the discovery of RCE vulnerabilities in major platforms like Discord, VSCode, and Teams. My findings have been featured at prestigious conferences like Defcon USA, Blackhat USA, and Nullcon Goa, and even highlighted on vice.com.

When I'm not immersed in cybersecurity, I enjoy playing cricket, learning piano and guitar, and swimming. For more insights into my work and interests, you can visit my blogs at s1r1us.ninja and electrovolt.io.
